Students of visual arts work to enhance the creative skills that help great students meet and exceed our highest expectations. The skills and intellectual muscles practiced by young minds, working toward the creation of new works and assessing and solving design problems, creates a pattern of critically examining ideas that aid our young adult learners in every facet of life.
Art and design does not exist separate from the rest of the world. Artists and designers work closely with historians, scientists, writers, business people, engineers, and others to create and discover. In art class, Lincoln Middle School students not only create art, but learn how to look at, discuss, and write about art & design in all settings.
