Dear Lonsdale Community,
As we close the chapter of the 2024–2025 school year, I’m filled with gratitude, admiration, and pride. This year has been filled with powerful success stories of growth, resilience, discovery, and joy. Our students, staff, and families have worked incredibly hard, and now it’s time for all to enjoy a well-deserved summer break. I hope each of you takes time over the coming months to rest, reflect, and recharge.
Special congratulations go out to the fifth-grade class of 2025. You have been an unforgettable group, making your mark in numerous ways over the years here at Lonsdale. Whether you ended kindergarten virtually during the pandemic, celebrated the reopening of brand-new bathrooms, or proudly signed the final beam for our new Physical Education Center, you’ve genuinely made history. You were the first class to participate in our inaugural Walkathon, proudly wore the first Lonsdale yearly t-shirt, and created lifelong memories through field trips, field days, and spirit events. Most importantly, you became the first class to present your “Vision of a Graduate” capstone projects, a milestone that reflects your growth as learners and leaders. We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments and excited to see the incredible history you’ll continue to make. I’ll be waiting for your return in 2032 as a graduating senior for your traditional senior walkthrough. Don’t forget to come back!
To our teachers, staff, and families, thank you. Your dedication, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to our students are at the heart of Lonsdale’s success. Your passion ensures that every child receives a rich, engaging, and memorable academic and social experience.
A special thank-you goes to our amazing LPT, whose tireless efforts provided our students with countless opportunities for learning, connection, and joy. From organizing events to supporting staff and students in big and small ways, you have made a lasting difference.
I would also like to thank Miss Hailey Dussault, who has served as a long-term kindergarten substitute for the past year and a half. Your kindness, dedication, and warmth will never be forgotten; you will always be a part of our Lonsdale family.Behind the scenes, we are lucky to have some of the most important members of our school community:
- Mrs. Ryan, who runs our front office with efficiency, care, and always a smile. Your hard work and deep dedication ensure that everything runs smoothly, making every visitor feel at home.
- Mr. Jeremy and Mr. Scott, who tirelessly supports us each day by cleaning up the countless messes, moving materials, fixing problems, and preparing our building for all the learning and laughter that happen here. We know your summer will be busy preparing everything for our return, and we are grateful for all that you do.
Looking ahead, there’s so much to be excited about! This fall, we will return to a newly renovated cafeteria, a brand-new Physical Education Center, STEM classrooms, and additional learning spaces, all part of the 2024 Lincoln Public Schools Bond. We are growing, improving, and building the future of Lonsdale together.
