LPS Internal Gender Identity Protocol
Purpose: For the Lincoln School Department (“School Department”) to be proactive in creating a school culture that respects and values all students and fosters understanding
of gender identity within the school community by: -
Health and Wellness Implementation Procedures
Post the Wellness Policy JU on the Lincoln Public Schools website. The district will use a variety of communications at its disposal, including social media, to provide parents and staff with suggestions for supporting the implementation of the Wellness Policy.

JHFA - Protocol for Reporting Known or Suspected Child Abuse and/or Neglect by and Adult
As an employee of the Lincoln Public Schools, you must be familiar with the RI General
Law 40-11-3.3 and the protocols below for reporting known or suspected Child Abuse, Neglect, and/or sexual abuse. Any person employed by the Lincoln Public Schools (“LPS”) and agents, contractors, or volunteers of an LSD educational program are considered to be a mandatory reporter and must report known or suspected abuse, neglect, or sexual abuse of a child within 24 hours. -
PROTOCOL FOR ALL ENFORCEMENT OF PROHIBITION OF TOBACCO AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS ON SCHOOL GROUNDS AND SCHOOL SPONSORED ACTIVITIES
State law, R.I. Gen. Laws § 23-20.9-1 et seq., requires the Lincoln School District to develop policy and protocol to enforce the prohibition of tobacco product and ENDS usage by an individual utilizing any school facility.

BC - Civility Policy

BCB & GBCB - Possession of Confidential Information or Documents by Former Employees & Public Officials
The Lincoln School Committee seeks to maintain and protect confidential information, including confidential information received through email or other electronic means and confidential documents, and further to maintain confidentiality of district, students, parents, and employees and other information as provided by state and federal law.

BG (GBD) - Staff Communications
It is the policy of the Lincoln School Committee that all school department related communications between the Lincoln Teachers’ Association, the Lincoln School Department non-certified employee Local 2671, the Lincoln School Department administrative staff and the Lincoln School Committee will be conducted through the Superintendent of Schools, who should be informed of communications between staff and school committee members prior to any such communication.
