Child Outreach is a free screening program for 3-5 year olds. The screening takes a brief look at five domains – vision, hearing, speech/language, social/emotional and general development.
Screenings are done by request at Northern Elementary School between September and June. Children can also be screened at their local early care and education centers throughout the school year.
The goal of Child Outreach is to screen every child, every year prior to entry to Kindergarten.
A Child Outreach screening is completed with all community peer candidates before their acceptance into the preschool program at Northern Lincoln Elementary School.
