• Mr. Robert J. Mezzanotte was named Principal of Lincoln High School in August, 2019.  He has prior administrative experience as the Principal of South Kingstown High School from 2015-2019, and as Assistant Principal and Principal of North Smithfield High School from 2009-2015.  Before that he taught Social Studies at Barrington High School.  During his tenure, North Smithfield High School was named as one of Rhode Island’s “Commended Schools” by the Rhode Island Department of Education.  At South Kingstown High School, Mr. Mezzanotte oversaw the implementation of new Career and Technical Education programs, as well as an expansion of Advanced Placement offerings and work-based learning opportunities.  In the 2018-2019 school year, Mr. Mezzanotte completed a year-long training as part of the pilot cohort for the National Institute for School Leadership Executive Development Program.  He is an active member of the Rhode Island Association of School Principals, serving as a RIASP board member from 2016-2018.  He also has been an active member of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), serving as part of the Standards Review Committee in 2017.  He resides in North Kingstown with his wife, Stefanie, his daughter Ella and son Luke.
