Child Outreach

• Child Outreach is a free screening program for 3-5 year olds.  The screening takes a brief look at five domains – vision, hearing, speech/language, social/emotional and general development.

• Screenings are done by request at Northern Elementary School between September and June.  Children can also be screened at their local early care and education centers throughout the school year.

• The goal of Child Outreach is to screen every child, every year prior to entry to Kindergarten.

• A Child Outreach screening is completed with all community peer candidates before their acceptance into the preschool  program at Northern Lincoln Elementary School.
