ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR GRADES K-12 IS NOW OPEN

FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR!

Children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026, are eligible to register for Kindergarten.

Please see the links below for both NEW and EXISTING families.

JOIN US ON MARCH 28, 2026!

Lincoln Public Schools is holding an in-person registration day for kindergarten
students and elementary students new to the school district for the 2026-2027 school year on
Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. at their neighborhood elementary school.
In the event of inclement weather, a make-up day will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from
9:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you are unsure which school to attend, please contact Sheila Brown at
401-721-3315.

**Once you've received confirmation that your registration is complete and all required documents have been submitted to Lincoln Public Schools, please be sure to withdraw your student from their current school in order to ensure a timely transfer of records. **

 

If you are NEW to the district and completing a FIRST-TIME registration, VISIT THIS LINK.

If you are an existing parent or guardian and adding a NEW student, visit the Parent Portal at THIS LINK and choose Family/Student Access from the dropdown menu on the login page. 

Then choose New Student Registration located in the left-hand column of the Family Access Page.

 

ONLINE REGISTRATION SHOULD BE COMPLETED ON A LAPTOP OR DESKTOP COMPUTER. 

Be sure to select the correct school year when starting the registration process.

We do not recommend using a phone due to the numerous pages and details to be entered. The entire process should take 30-45 minutes.

In preparation for online registration, please have the following documents available to upload:

  • Birth Certificate (SCANNED* ORIGINAL)
  • Parent/Guardian Rhode Island ID
  • Most RECENT Record of Physical and Immunizations (including a Lead and Vision screening) - (SCANNED* COPY of RI or other PHYSICAL form)
  • Proof of Residency (please submit one of the following - SCANNED* COPIES):
    • Current mortgage statement AND 2 major utility bills (electric, gas, cell, etc.)
    • Property Deed AND 2 major utility bills (electric, gas, cell, etc.)
    • Fully executed lease AND 2 major utility bills (electric, gas, cell, etc.)
    • Notarized Affidavits
  • Free/Reduced Lunch Form (if applicable)

These documents should be uploaded as part of the online application process.
