Welcome to the Lincoln Public Schools. The Town of Lincoln is located in the northeastern corner of Rhode Island. It is approximately 12 miles north of Providence and 30 miles south of Worcester. In a town of just over 22,000, Lincoln was recently named by Fortune Small Business Magazine as #60 of the Top 100 Best Places to Live.

Lincoln has a total school population of 3,437 students supported by a professional staff of 323 teachers. We feature two early learning centers, grades Pre-K – 1, four elementary schools, grades 2 – 5, one middle school, grades 6 – 8, and one high school, grades 9 – 12.

The Lincoln School District is committed to standards-based instruction and performance assessment on a K – 12 continuum. High expectations for student performance is supported by a rigorous curriculum aligned to standards with specific performance-based activities.

Economically, Lincoln is extremely diverse, covering the entire spectrum of the economy. The town derives its income primarily from local taxes (73%) with state and federal contributions of 26% and 1% respectively.

Our committed faculty, staff, and administrators are dedicated to building a home, school community partnership that will continue to support high standards for both faculty and students. Our continuing goal is to support and improve student achievement.
