Student Achievement

Objective 3:  Northern Lincoln Elementary School students will benefit from research based instructional/social emotional programs that address all physical, social and emotional needs of our diverse population.

Strategy #1   All students will participate in “Winning with Youth” and accompanying activities as well as other school wide character development and consistent discipline programs.

Strategy #2   Students will benefit from a “Response to Intervention” model that will support student’s emotional and academic needs.

Strategy #3   All students will be able to access emotional as well as academic support as needed.

Activities that support the strategies/action plans

              Provide for before school “Brain Gym” activities for students to ready them for the school day.

              Develop and implement school and classroom character/behavioral programs that are consistent and allow for rewards as well

              as consequences. 

              Provide school wide rewards for good behavior, character and academics.

STRATEGY: Realign classes and support staff to optimize specific programs and people.

RESULT STATEMENT: Northern Lincoln Elementary students will develop life long skills that will foster intelligent decisions allowing them to become responsible citizens in the community.

Changing Instruction What will teachers do to ensure students change their learning behaviors and attain the result?

Collaboration and Support How will we use the information we get to improve our program?  When will we discuss the progress we are making?
