Northern Lincoln School Store
The Northern Elementary Student Council is pleased to announce the opening of the Northern Lincoln School Store. The store will be open every Friday between 8:05 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. on the Northern Cafetorium stage.
Students may purchase various school items such as; pens, pencils, erasers, notebooks, rulers, highlighters, etc.
Adults are needed to help run the store. Anyone interested in helping out should call the Northern Office at 769-0261.

Scrabble Club
The first meeting of Northern's Scrabble Club was fantastic! Past and new club members joined to learn the skills and strategy of the game. Mrs. Lagace will be coaching the club while Ms. Goulis works with the fifth and sixth grade members. The "senior" scrabblers will be practicing with an eye towards the National Tournament.

Pennies for Patients
Northern Elementary and the ELC will once again be taking part in the "Pennnies for Patients" sponsoresd by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Rhode Island.
During the first three weeks of March, the students will be asked to donate loose change collected from parents, relatives and friends.
In the past two years, the students have raised over $8,000, placing fifth and eighth in the state for amount of money raised.
Hopefully we will do as well again this year!
Jump Rope
The Northern Elementary Jump Rope Team has begun practice. The team meets after school on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. All practices will be held in the Northern gym.
The team will be involved in local and regional competition throughout the year. Please attend and show your support.
