Books with one author

Author last name, First name. Book Title. Place of Publication: Publisher, copyright date.

Example: Hoving, Thomas. Tutankhamun. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1978.

Books with more than one author

Author last name, First name and Second Author First name and last name. Book Title. Place of Publication: Publisher, copyright date.

Example: Cooper, Robert K. and Leslie L. Cooper. Low-Fat Living. Emmaus, PA: Rodale Press, 1996.

No author given:

Book Title. Place of Publication: Publisher, copyright date.

Example: The Amazing Universe. Washington, D.C.: National Geographic Society, 1991.


Magazine with author

Author last name, First name.  "Title of Article". Magazine Title, Magazine date: page number(s).

Example: Begley, Sharon. " Healthy Dose of Laughter." Newsweek, Oct. 4, 1987: p.65.

Magazine with no author given
