A swarm of unusual flying creatures have descended upon the art room. Third graders in Mrs. Paluch's and Miss Ferrante's class
first noticed the pesky invaders during an art and science
enrichment period with Mrs. Levesque. The creatures were
unlike anything the teachers had ever seen before.
Judging by
the appearance of head, thorax, and abdomen, along with six
legs, wings, and two antennae, a very observant student
suggested that the creatures must be insects.
Pest control experts later confirmed the identification, but
admitted that they were not familiar with this particular order,
or family, of insects. They went on to state that the
insects could not have entered through the window screens and
concluded that the infestation must have been "created" within
the art room! |
