Meet Mrs. Conlon

Mrs. Conlon, our music teacher at Lincoln Central Elementary School, has been teaching music for 7 years!!!  Mrs. Conlon received her B.S. in Music Education from Rhode Island College.  Her principle instruments are flute and piccolo, and she still performs with various wind ensembles throughout the New England area!!!  Mrs. Conlon began her teaching career in Smithfield, RI, where she spent 5 years teaching elementary general music, chorus and band.  She is currently in her 2nd year of teaching in the Lincoln School Department, and is so excited to be a part of our Lincoln family!!!  In addition to teaching in Lincoln, Mrs. Conlon also teaches at Rhode Island College.  Last year, Mrs. Conlon was chosen as 1 of just 20 music teachers in the country to have her music lesson plans published in book!  Currently, she is collaborating with music educators from across the nation to contribute to a new series of music education resource books, due to arrive in stores in 2009!!!
