There are six public schools in the Town of Lincoln’s School Department, including four elementary schools (K-5), one middle school and one comprehensive high school. Full day kindergarten is offered in each of the elementary schools. Additionally Pre-K programs are available in two elementary schools. Total enrollment for Lincoln Public Schools (June 2011) remains steady at approximately 3350 students. Lincoln High School was recently (May 2011) listed as #7 out of 51 of Rhode Island’s Top High Schools (Compiled by Natalie Cummins, with David Hanyok, GoLocalProv) and successfully completed the 2010 Commissioner’s Review
