Welcome to Lonsdale Elementary
School’s Library Media Center Online! This website was created
for the children and teachers at our school.
If you are in the second grade
you may choose 2 books every other week during regular library
classes. Students in grades 3 through 6 may choose 3 items (books
or magazines) every other week. Check your Book Exchange
Calendar, which is on the back of your monthly Library Newsletter,
to see when your class is scheduled to choose books. You can also
check the Book Exchange Calendar Online or the Newsletter Online.
Remember…you can always visit the Lonsdale Library Media
Center before or after school, or during Open Library to exchange
books you finish before your next scheduled book selection day.
Open Library will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 for grades 4 and
5 and Thursday at 12:00 for grades 2 and 3. If you would like
to come to Open Library, please get a pass from your teacher.
This is a time for quiet reading, choosing books and working on
projects.
