Welcome to the Lincoln High School Health Services web page. I have developed this Nurse's Niche web page to inform the students, families and faculty of Lincoln High School. The information contained in these pages are not meant to replace competent medical evaluation and treatment. If you need medical advice, please consult your family physician. The 2009/2010 school year marks my 8th year working at the high school. I graduated from Rhode Island College with a BS degree in nursing in 1987. Since that time, my nursing experience has been working with children. I have experience working in the emergency room, pediatric intensive care, and adolescent unit at Hasbro Children's Hospital. I also worked at Boston Children’s Hospital. I attained a Masters Degree in Health Education in 2007. I have definitely found my NICHE, in the school setting and look forward to the school year. I hope this web site is a useful tool, and a way to share policies, forms and information on teen health topics.
